HOW TO PLAY

Tap an arrow only when its straight path to the edge of the board is clear. It shoots off and scores.
If something is in the way, that is a NOPE: the blocked path flashes, your combo resets and you lose 3 seconds.
Every run shares one 60-second clock. Clear the board to move on to the next one.
You can play with a mouse, touch, or the keyboard: arrow keys to move, Enter or Space to tap. Swiping is never required.
Points: 100 per arrow, plus 25 per combo step (up to +125). Three-round runs add 10 points per second left when you clear every board.

Play (Chaos Run): fresh boards every time, three rounds that grow from 5×5 to 7×7.
Daily Drop: everyone gets the same boards for the UTC day. It is endless and keeps getting denser on one 60-second clock with no extra time. It resets at midnight UTC.
Normal and Hard: Hard uses denser boards. Scores for each are kept separately.
Echo Run: when an arrow leaves sideways its row turns clockwise; when it leaves up or down its column turns. If no arrow can escape, the run ends straight away ("NO WAY OUT").
Race a friend: a private live race on the same board. Share the invite link with one friend.
Challenge links: after a run you can share a link with your score. Friends play the same boards and try to beat it.

Without an account, your best scores and daily streak are saved only on this device ("device best"). Clearing browser data removes them.
Your daily streak grows only when you finish a Daily Drop. Play and challenge-link games do not count toward it.
When you are signed in, Play and Daily Drop are ranked: the server checks every tap and your best score goes on the public leaderboard under your player name.
Device-only scores are never uploaded to the leaderboard. Friend challenge links do not count toward it either.
The leaderboard keeps each player's best score. Ties go to the earlier score. "Today" resets at midnight UTC.

You can play without an account. Sign-up appears after your first week of play, or straight away from the Founder Club button.
You can sign in with Google or with an email and password. Email sign-ups need to confirm their address from the email we send.
Forgot your password? Use "Forgot password" in the sign-in window to get a reset link by email.
Your player name shows on leaderboards. You can change it from the account button once signed in.

Founder Club is a single $2.99 USD payment, not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel and no renewal. Sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
It unlocks board themes (Midnight, Sherbet and the exclusive Founder palette), the Founder badge on results screens, ad-free play, and the Founder Gauntlet.
The Founder Gauntlet is a Founder-only ranked game: Classic rules on Hard, endless boards and one 60-second clock. Every Founder gets the same boards all week, and it resets Monday 00:00 UTC. Its scores go on the Founder board only.
Founder perks are cosmetic and never change the public leaderboard, Daily Drop, Chaos Run or races.
Founder Club is linked to your player account, so you need to sign in to buy it, and the perks follow you to any device you sign in on.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and NOPE! never sees or stores them.
If you paid but nothing unlocked: open Founder Club while signed in to the same account and tap "Retry membership check". Perks usually show up within a minute of paying.

Plus costs $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year and can be shared by up to five accounts, including the owner.
Plus includes ad-free play, board themes (not the Founder palette), the Plus badge, untimed practice and the Daily Drop archive. Practice and archive games are never ranked.
The owner can invite up to four other players from the Plus window. Invitations expire after 7 days.
If you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
Switching between monthly and yearly takes effect immediately. Any unused time is credited; extra cost is charged right away; leftover credit stays on your account and is not refunded automatically.
The owner can view invoices and update the payment method from "Invoices & payment method" in the Plus window.

Without an account, NOPE! stores only your scores and settings in your browser.
With an account, we store your email, player name, ranked scores and purchase status.
We use Google Ads to measure whether our ads bring players. Ad cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice from the privacy page.

If it cannot answer, or you ask for a person, it hands your conversation to the NOPE! team. A person replies in the same chat; check back on the support page.
Refunds, billing disputes, account deletion, bug reports and anything not covered here are always handled by a person.
